PonyTales – Interactive™ sessions are delivered alongside the books to deepen understanding, engagement, and emotional connection.

Importantly, the sessions do not replace reading; they enhance it. After participating, children often return to the books with increased enthusiasm, using the illustrations and text to recall, retell, and extend the story through their own play and conversation.

PonyTales – Interactive™ is a research-informed, multi-sensory literacy intervention grounded in inclusive and balanced literacy principles. The programme integrates minimally worded, visually expressive texts with structured experiential learning to enhance engagement, narrative comprehension, and emotional literacy. Designed to reduce barriers for neurodivergent learners, children with SEND, and reluctant readers, the approach supports embodied learning, predictable routines, and socially meaningful interaction to strengthen both literacy access and wellbeing outcomes.
